old photos.....

Right now I have really great ideas in my mind - for example to scan all my paper photos of my childhood and to make a photobook for me... So I cannot imagine that those photos are almost 46 years old! Phewwwww!

  
Next thing I want to do is a "travel diary" - means printing a book (out of a blog) with the most interesting, mind blowing trips I've ever done. But therefore I will start with the time I had my first digital camera - (my thought at moment - otherwise I have to scan more then 5000 photos and it will take me years).
That means I will write a "travel diary blog" (I've started already - BUUUUUUT - as it is mostly for myself I started to write in German language - why should the book be printed in English language when I (almost) can speak and write perfectly German.....
- So with the time you can read (if you can understand the german language) or at least you can see photos of my travels to:

 - New Zealand in Nov/Dec 2007
 - South Africa in November 2008

You see - mind- wise I am totally back on track and full of ideas - hope I can do it like I really want to do.

My "new job" as a dog nurse.....

Seems "the boys" are acting like babies or little children..... playing along with others and coming home sick....
Last week we had the stomach flu here - and Max and Ben were really poorly..... such sad eyes - they didn't even want food..... very untypical for Labradors. No games - no entertainment - they only laid in their beds or on their pillow in the living room and they both slept the whole day....  Worst days were thursday and friday - saturday they were a little better but also very tired. Sunday I felt the engergy came back to both of them - they jumped around and played - ran around and food was highly welcome....
Yesterday evening Max started to sneeze like hell and now he is coughing teriible... so later I will pack him and take him to the vet again - normally I wouldn't do it after one day of sneezing and coughing but as Max will have his surgery on his hip next tuesday he has to be fine and super healthy....
yes - surgery will take place on thuesday next week and honestly I don't know how I feel. My parents are telling me all the time I don't have to worry too much about the two dogs - I shouldn't forget they are "just" dogs. But having them now for almost half a year they are real members of our family and I won't miss one of them - even I could tell endless about the things they didn't right or destroyed....Always thinking that they are "children" and have to "explore" our and their world. And there is sooo much to to and to learn - for example how a tulip tasts -lol!!!! Or that "stolen" water from a watering can is much better than the water they get served...
Isn't it funn to "steal" a piece of meat during a barbeque? And the garden needs a new "pattern" so put out the flowers "mum" put in....What does it mean when "mum" shouts "no"??? Means "yes - try it" isn't it? "Mum"s arms are getting longer with every walk we do - when we can see a dog in front of us we do this so called "stretching" for mum - starting to run to that dog.  - that are the bad habbits...
the good habbits are much more ..... whole dog is "shaking" because of joy when "mum" comes downstairs in the morning. ....to comfort "mum" when she is in a bad mood - loving her to bits and curling around her feet while she is working...... being brave at the vet - listening to "mum" most of the time - going to bed in the evening when told without any "discussion" - sleeping lots of hours during the day so that "mum" can work - and and and....

Dog hospital here - sweeties have stomach flu....

..... and do have such a sad look as I was told not to give them food for the next 24 hours - can you believe how a labrador must feel? Normally they are like hoovers........ but worst time is over - both got two injections  - next food is around 01.00 pm - so they are really looking forward for the watch hand to moooooveeeee :)

still winter outside - and lots of snow here in Munich.....

Who said winter is gone???? Definately not....

Yes sure we all knew winter will be back again but after a very sunny and warm weekend 10 days ago we really could smell spring in the air. But "father freeze" is back with "brother snow" - lol

Kitzbuehel Hahnenkammrennen 2011

We have been to an event for the weekend -  Kitzbuehel Hahnenkammrennen  = Men downhill at Kitzbuehel - the worlds most difficult downhill race.Was very interesting to watch - even we Germans had just two times to cross the fingers. Unfortunately the german skier are not very "good" at the moment - the Swiss and the Austrian are much better. But anyway - it is interesting watching it as it is the most difficult slope in the world.

There were a few accidents - nothing serious - except one skier who fell very hard.... in slow motion it looked terrible and we all thought there has something fatally happened. He must have had an guardian angel as later on we've heard that he had "only" a broken wrist and a concussion.....

Icy times

We went home from Kitzbuehel sunday late morning and did a nice drive with the car - decided to stop at Tegernsee and did a nice walk there by the sea..... found this

Today I am really looking forward for summer - stumbeling over this photos make me wish wearing tops and shorts :)

Normally I am not "proud" of photos I've taken - and I am not "proud" of how I edited them - like here in this collage. But every time I stumble over this one I think I should print it on canvas - and in a really big way - like 120 cm X 80 cm - walls now we have enough LOL...

Sweetie Ben - got his "Betthupferl" before he went to bed - and is looking what Max gets...

Let the new year begin.......

.... so I am back!!!!!! Hopefully!!!!!!! I had one wish on new years eve - a little more time for myself and I found out that its not a thing that we can wish - its a thing we have to do for ourselves: TAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF - nothing can be more important than taking time for yourself. If you need a rest - take it - if you need a nap - take it - if you are tired- go to bed.
To be honest I am in an age where you can see if you don't have enough time for yourself..... sadly but truely I found out that I am looking "older" these days and I won't complain and whine around - I know the reason for that: Leeeeessss sleeep and leeeeesss time for myself. So I want to change that! NOW! HERE!

Now I want to show you some photos - some photos which are "the reason" for myself looking older - the renovation of the other half of the house we bought. We had a new years party with 11 people and this is my new dining room:

Christmas

Already December....

....and I am sooo behind all my things I have to do....This year is going to be one of my most stressfull years ever - but nevertheless I love my life!!!
Still recovering from my third degree burned thumb - it looks awful and I am not going to be a "hand model" anymore (I never thought about that lol). But it looks really bad and I got told by my doc yesterday that it will last over the next year to recover completely. I will never never never caramelize sugar....thats for sure.

But I won't bore you with that story - here last week we had an amazing winter week and I enjoyed every day even driving with the car was horrible. We had lots of snow and it was quite cold - til the weekend and now we have degrees in the plus again and the snow is melting away (sadly).
