team up thursday

This weeks theme was chosen by Marcelle and its....?????? (guess what)

So this week I have to apologize because not one single photo I took turned out like I wanted so I think this week I am not the best TUT partner - sorry Marcelle.

I am not a .....-drinker and for that reasons I don't have.....-mugs - this are my normal - every day - mugs.

Marcelle's photo is just perfect  - I really feel like I am asked what kind of tea I would like to have - this photo makes me feeling to take a  seat and ask for a cup of the tea of the green tea (left) - so beautiful arranged - such a nice mug and such lovely teas  love the black background and the bright colours.
Marcelle this week you "shoot me up" again - BEAUTIFUL and PERFECT PHOTO.

Something on my own account - if you are interested please come over to my blog entry on Saturday September 11th - I have a story to tell about this day - I bet you all know what you've done and where you've been when the two planes hit the twin towers in 2001 - I want to tell you where I've been on that day and what happened to me....

Team up thursday - week 17

Already thursday again - time for TEAM UP THURSDAY and the theme I've chosen for this week is:

                                                                   LEAVES

Unfortunately we now can wait til the first trees will lose their "clothes" and the streets and everything will be covered with leaves soon. I cannot believe that it is September already and our summer is gone :(
We had some cold days - today its sunny but chilly outside and the first snow is on the way to come down in the German uplands - can you imagine???

But honestly I have to say I love the autumn because of the colours - I LOVE all those colourfull trees and the light is fantastic sometimes (when the sun is out)

So here we have some leaves that were found in my garden - I think its a kind of canadian maple - correct me if I am wrong. I love the colours of the leaves - they are in this colours during the year so its not a sign of autumn with that red-orange.

This is Marcelles' photo - I love the light and  the colours and I am surprised that there are soo many leaves off of the trees - I think here in Munich and the area we don't have as much leaves on the ground as the Hessians have. For me its a perfect "autumn-photo" - which was my original plan when I choose the theme.

Perfect captured Marcelle!!!!

This was my first choice but then I thought I take the other one because of the lovely colour:

team up thursday - week 16

Again its thursday and I have no clue where the time has gone - sooo busy with the puppies and we've started some work on our other half of the house which be bought a month ago. So I will have some workers here the next weeks who will keep my busy too with looking what they are doing and bringing some food and drinks and and and...

Our theme this week is chosen by Marcelle and its FENCES

I love this theme as it is a simple one and on the other side its a difficult one - I cannot go outside and take a photo of the neighbours fences - they will think I am working for "Google street view" or something like that...
And I thought it should be a special fence I want to show and this is what I've found yesterday while walking with the dogs. I think I've passed that fence 100 times but never recognized it or have seein it with the eyes like I did yesterday....

Marcelles photos  is a brilliant shot again - I love this blue sky with the clouds so soft - I love this fence - I love the silence you can see on/in that photo - I love the nature - I LOVE THAT SHOT. WELL DONE MY TUT PARTNER.

Our diptych:

I cannot wait to see all your brilliant photos again this week - curious about your themes and you ideas. I love that team up thursday and I want to say a huge thank you to all of you who always inspire me and make me not give up hoping to do "the perfect shot" one day. Thank you girls - you're all fantastic. What a pity we cannot meet up in person - maybe one day????!!!!
Cheers

Todays shots...

The serious side of life begins....

...with the first day at school....

a few more will follow on friday as you all know tomorrow we have thursday and that means "tut"
See you
your busy Kerstin

team up thursday - week 15 - self portrait

Hello - here we go again with a new theme on our team up thursday - self portrait. This time I chose the theme.
I have to say I normally don't like seeing me on/in photos - I don't know why but I always have something to moan. So this was not easy for me but the challenge for me was to chose one of only 3 photos I did of myself.
I didn't want to take 100 photos in line and then choosing the nicest one - no I thought " I am how I am" yesterday after a 3,5 hours drive on the Autobahn and I've unpacked my suitcase and put away all the things I normally have with me when at home by my parents I took my cam and went in front of the mirror in our bathroom and here we are:

"This is Marcelle"  - and I love this photo - the lightning is just perfect - the background with lots of photos of her and her family makes this photo special regarding the theme - self portrait - in a way she shows herself with not just a photo of her - with showing how important her family is to her and you not just get a "face to a name" - no you see a lot more. WELL DONE PARTNER - THINK YOU DID A PERFECT JOB AGAIN THIS WEEK

I had to grin again when I got Marcelles photo - look both of us with the camera on the photo - both of us the cam on the right hand side (seeing the photo) and see our upper hand - LOL

One week with the puppies and my world is upside down....

...but I wouldn't give them away anymore - not for all the money in the world:)

12 of the 12th -August already....

Okay here we go - 12th of August: - My day:

This was my view out of my bedroom window yesterday morning - all grey in grey and wet....

These are my "novels" I currently read - besides books about dogs and puppies - they're lying in front of my bed :)

This is one of the 9 roses I got from my husband because of or 9th wedding anniversary on Monday.

This is one man I adore - wow - met him once in person and did some small talk with him - Love his music and his photography as well. Have been to his concerts more than 30 times and its time that he moves his a... back to Munich this year - guess who is it??? The reason why I did this photo is I tried my new flash I bought last week

No need to explain what I had to do yesterday? As my two new dogs keep me very busy with just watching them (always trying to catch them when they are ready to pee and to poo) I took the time when they both were snorring in their bed.

I also tried to work upstairs but no chance - as soon as I left the dining room there came crazy thoughts to the dogs minds.....

This is what the postman brought yesterday - some advertisement from Douglas and my monthly "Color Foto"

This is my view out of my kitchen window - I love lavender! Always have it in my house (I mean in summer)

As working wasn't possible in my "home office" I had to work downstairs in the dining room :)

This is one of my favourite sayings - I have it in my hallway to read it as often as possible :)

Later in the evening I had a little time to do my diary entry.

And here we have my bedtime sweets - LOL no not mine - its funny what I find lying around all the day - and its funny what both of them brought me out of my garden these days - for example slugs - baaaahhhhhh!!!!!
This was my 12th of August - forgot to mention that my dear chat friend Sue had her birthday and once again: Happy birthday Sue - hope you had a good one - time to chat again:)

team up thursday - week 14

Here we go again - its "TUT"-time - team up thursday and this week we have strangers....
Fist thought of myself was - whats difficult and tough to take a photo of strangers as everyone you don't know is a stranger - but - hehe - that wasn't that easy. I went to the city center last friday to stroll  and thought I should take a photo of people passing by - but not as easy as thought. Did a few but was not happy with them and then I saw that old man sitting there- a basket in front of himself with a note: Thanks for your support - and I thought: Shall i support him with money or shall I bring him a roll or something to eat? And you know what? I did nothing as I saw that he opened a plastic bag and there were bottles and bottles of alcohol in it - beer, schnaps, wine....

So here we go:

This are "Marcelles strangers":

Its a perfect captured - and I really mean captured - photo. Look at the old lady - and her husband (think he is- lol). Sometimes I love to think about what people think or talk in those moments - are they talking about their day - their children - about the weather or whatever...
I also love all the natural things Marcelle has in her photo - the stones - the wood - the old wall of (I think) a castle or something like this... WELL DONE MARCELLE !!!!

My days are filled with being a "mommy" to Max and Ben

How life can change in a second - how life can change when you decide to give two gorgeous puppies a new home.
Believe me or not - I have no more time for myself - i am busy like hell with the new family members - looking for them - give them their meals - entertain them - play with them - walking them - cleaning the floors because of little mishaps :)  - trying to get the doggies to sleep....
I think it takes time to get a routine for my days now and right now Ben and Max need a lot of time and love - away from mum and dad - away from common places - away from lordling and mistress - new mistress and lordling - new home....
Right now they are downstairs and asleep - yipeeeh - after playing in the garden for an hour - and it will give me an hour to do my things I have to do - and the first thing is doing an entry here.

Here are some photos of the "little wee ones"
